water is not enough. need heat and motion. our moon causes tides. which churn organic ooze causing the development of complex compounds. and our sun supplies the heat. if there is tectonic activity, such as on europa, with an under ice ocean, by jupiter, there is a more likelihood of life.

A conclusion based on a compilation of theories, observations and speculations. We should know for certain, about the water, in a few thousand millinia. The science of observation is fascinating, isn't it?

wait a minute if we see a star 369 million light years away couldn't that star be burned out but the light haven't reached us yet? so why would it really matter?

My backyard is suitable to support kangaroos living there. That's why I keep looking, certain that someday I'll find kangaroos in my backyard. Seriously, my point is that we have no idea what the probability of life first arising is. I hope we solve these mysteries in my lifetime.

Just what Man needs - another planet to exploit.

The galaxy is analogous to a coral reef, teeming with life . We are certainly not alone. Further, the Hubble deep field view shows visible space teeming with galaxies.

This is so cook but is all speculation! Look how wrong they have been about planets and moons in our own solar system!

It looks like an interesting planet for a Star Trek fan film. Thanks.
