China could send a constant flow of people to the moon to replace the ones that die. That would be their concept of long term presence on the moon. Think how much easier it would be to send people to the moon and never have a plan to return them. It would almost be more like a prison death sentence for the people of China that get sent to the moon.

ººIt took us 6,000 years to get from the wheel (4,000 BC) to the car (1885). And then it only took us less than 80 years to get from the car to the Moon (1969) ? I'm calling BS.
ºNo one can know just how bright their light bulbs really are until they place their eye against the bulb itself and then taken a look. Until then, they only know how bright it is from where ever they are standing.
This also applies to the Sun, stars and Moon. So, if you can read a newspaper by moonlight when the Moon is supposed to be over 230,000 miles away, then how bright do you think it would be if you were actually walking on its surfacer trying to film some home movies ? The answer would be…That you would be standing in plasma, that you might as well be standing inside a laser beam. No one can ever walk on the Moon, it is not a world, it is a light. And it doesn't rotate, is rolls like a wheel. It is not a ball because, there is no hotspot which is characteristic of all balls, when a light is shining on it. There is no, "darkside of the Moon" light doesn't have a dark side. There is only what we see.

This means that if NAZA was to close their doors and get a real job, then each starved child would have over $2,000 a day to get by on. Ending world hunger overnight would be a piece of cake, if helping mankind is what these so-called, "Great men of science" really wanted. But clearly, it is not.

If the small percent in charge of earth were concentrating on fixing earth rather than tearing it apart for greed and resources then we wouldn't need to leave..
iF we did leave to mine other world's we might stop damaging this planet so much... However NASA means lies or deceiver in Latin...and we cannot leave

Well we also see the actions of the American Government on Earth - not following treaties and what not. Pretty sure all nations except USA are going to follow the Outer Space Treaty when it comes to Moon settlement!

HAPPENING IN REAL LIFE… Don’t know why we can’t make it now we did it with old tech… but most will say we never made it to the moon… maybe? We’ll never know
