Chapter 1 - HybridP3M: Hybrid Project Management and Agile Mindset
Introduction
Introduction to Chapter 1 - HybridP3M: Hybrid Project Management and Agile Mindset.
Project enterprise functions lay the foundation for functional processes. HybridP3M consists of fourteen processes which provide the foundation of the process model. A process model is a detailed mapping of process related elements. Essentially, the process model consists of process descriptions, which can be captured as text, represented by Figures, or embedded in web-based tools. HybridP3M's process model is shaped by its meta-model. See the figure below:
HybridP3M consists of the following processes, in any particular order:
- Defining the project or programme,
- Integrating Knowledge Management,
- Planning,
- Mitigating risks,
- Business Case Development,
- Realizing benefits,
- Monitoring & Control,
- Managing Stakeholder Expectations,
- Managing requirements,
- Evaluating the project or programme,
- Leading the project or programme,
- Project / programme establishment,
- Providing assurance,
- Agile product delivery.
For each process there is a devoted Chapter. In these Chapters the processes are elaborated in great detail. This section only provides a basic understanding of each process.
