Chapter 4 HybridP3M Hybrid Project Management and Agile Mindset Integrating Knowledge Management
Introduction
Introduction to Chapter 4 of HybridP3M: Hybrid Project Management and Agile Mindset.
Project Knowledge Management is a key sub-function of projects, not project management. It is a distinct field. This means that knowledge management processes need to be embedded in project management. HybridP3M introduces Integrating Knowledge Management as a complementary process, next to more traditional processes such as planning, project organization (in HybridP3M replaced by Project Establishment), monitoring & control (a traditional concept), or the more modern leadership topic. New and innovative in this Chapter is the introduction of the Knowmadic-steps technique. The Knowmadic-steps technique, first conceptualized by Lukasz Rosinski in 2008 as a knowledge structuring approach, comprises five steps in order to integrate knowledge effectively and efficiently. It takes into account specificity of knowledge and utilizes a mechanism to facilitate knowledge distribution, namely a scope and distribution mechanism.
