One of the most powerful #PRINCE2 concepts for control are management #Stages, also adopted by #HybridP3M. Note that #specialist work defined by #technical phases may be aligned to Stages or may cross stage boundaries. For control, key are decision moments synonymous with Stages.

Traditionally #PRINCE2 has been poor on stakeholder management. It acknowledges this function by referring to MSP's six-step procedure for stakeholder engagement. But it is not a prominent process in the guide, unlike in #HybridP3 with 'Managing Stakeholder Expectations'.

According to APMG, only 64% of projects meet their goals because they lack proper planning and monitoring & control. Therefore projects need some degree of traditional management. #TraditionalManagement in the sense of a process-based framework, like #HybridP3M, combined with delivery methods, #predictive, #agile, #hybrid / along the predictive-agile continuum. Only traditional management pays attention to monitoring and control. Agile approaches are limited to people control.

YouDMS is the best solution for managing workflow in projects. This tool is different because it provides access to process knowledge. When the user defines #workflow and delegates activity existing process models can be used. These are derived from new methodologies (e.g. #HybridP3M). Six best practice frameworks are supported, in addition to custom workflow. Only AXELOS has a similar portfolio in size, but they have no collaboration tool and the project management field has evolved. #YouDMS

P3M3 is not the only maturity model for project organizations. MAIDEO is an alternative based on an existing P3M methodology, namely #HybridP3M. #MAIDEO measures the maturity of various functions, taking into account 5 organizational dimensions. Hybrid Project Management depends on Traditional Management, which is not a #Waterfall delivery process. It is much more complex. Traditional Management is based on the need for effectiveness and efficiency. These two process goals are critical for #projects with a tight budget and strict deadlines. Hybrid Management only introduces an #Agile Mindset and an Agile delivery process, which is to some extent also traditional. This Agile Mindset is aligned with customer needs. #HybridP3M
